PREPARATION

1. Launch Paint Shop Pro

2. Open the graphic and the bow

3. Duplicate each of them once

4. Close the originals

Working with the graphic

5. Image>Resize Settings:
Width: 400 pixels
Height: 400 pixels
Resample using: is checked
Smart Size is selected
Maintain original print size is not checked
Lock aspect ratio: is not checked
Resize all layers is checked

6. Adjust>Sharpness>Sharpen if necessary

7. Duplicate it

8. Minimize one of them

9. Activate the Dropper Tool (E)

These 2 colors should be either distinctly different from one another or two very opposite shades
of the same color, otherwise the frame effect won't show up as it should

10. Right click a medium to darker color in the graphic to set the Background  and
Fill Color in the Materials Palette

11. Left click a lighter to medium complimentary color to set the Foreground and Stroke
Color in the Materials Palette

12. Set both colors in the swatch palette for easy access
